LG Unveils 2021 OLED TVs
The line-up that many people have been waiting for has been announced. LG has revealed the OLED TVs for 2021 during CES. The range consists of the A1, B1, C1, G1, and Z1 series. The A1 series is the newcomer in the line-up. This model is LG's OLED entry-level model and is shipped with a less powerful processor compared to the other series. The model that is being looked forward to is the G1 series, because only this series is equipped with the new OLED Evo panel. This panel is 20% more efficient and therefore achieves a higher brightness, making HDR look even more convincing. How the panels work exactly is unfortunately not yet known, more information will follow later according to LG.
In addition to a new panel, the G1 series also receives the new Alpha 9 Gen 4 Processor, this processor can also be found in the C1 series. This processor improves image and sound using AI. For example, AI Picture Pro recognizes people and objects, allowing them to be separated from each other to create more depth in the image. The processor ensures that the volume remains the same when switching between apps and sources. All 2021 LG OLED TVs will have HDMI 2.1 connections and a separate menu for gamers, Game Optimizer. In this menu you will find game settings such as G-Sync and VRR.
For the A1, C1 and G1 series, a Gallery floor stand is optionally available. When the new LG OLED TVs will be available and what the prices will be is not yet known. Keep an eye on our website for the latest information.
