LG bends a 48-inch OLED display
LG doesn't like to stand still and has therefore announced a bendable 48-inch OLED screen a few days before the start of CES 2021. The screen can be made completely flat or bent depending on your preference. The curved position is mainly intended for gamers.
In the LG corridors, this screen is also called the Bendable Cinematic Sound OLED. As the name suggests, this screen has a built-in audio system. The special thing about this system is that it does not consist of speakers, but produces sound by vibrating the screen. This technology is also used in Sony OLED TVs. LG promises an impressive sound reproduction. We will have to wait for the hands-on reviews during CES 2021 to see if LG does what it promises.
This screen is a good choice for the gamers among us. For example, this screen has a response time of 0.1 ms and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Thanks to the OLED technology, you can enjoy perfect black values and an infinite contrast. This gives you a big advantage over opponents who game on a standard screen.
