What is QLED?

QLED is very similar in name to OLED, but they are televisions with two different technologies. QLED televisions have an LED screen that uses a layer of Nano crystals. These Nano crystals are called Quantum Dots. An OLED TV does not use backlighting, while a QLED television does.

The 'One Invisible Connection' as Samsung calls the cable, together with the Ambient Mode function, ensures that your television is completely integrated into your interior.

The viewing angle of the QLED TV has also been increased. This means that you can see colours much more intensely even from an extreme viewing angle. Samsung does not want to reveal how they have improved this, but this is probably due to the use of a new subpixel structure.
